This fabulous SUEDEsays red bag was designed specifically for Fall 2011 Fashion’s Night Out - along with others designed by fellow Project Runway alumni, the original SUEDEsays bag was auctioned off September 8, 2011 to support worldwide charity Keep a Child Alive.
You can sew your own SUEDEsays bag and support children’s charity with this limited edition SUEDEsays for Simplicity pattern 0109, available exclusively at simplicity.com! Plus get a FREE SUEDE woven fabric label included with your pattern, just like the one used on the original bag! Not available in stores, this pattern gives you the ability to recreate this trendy look for yourself, whether you make it in red as shown here or give it a completely different vibe yourself with your own fabric and color choices.
Best of all, this is a pattern with heart: a portion of the proceeds from each pattern sale goes directly to Keep a Child Alive.
Keep a Child Alive (KCA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing life-saving AIDS treatment, care, support services and love to children and families affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa and India. KCA-funded clinics provide free treatment to those with HIV/AIDS, for whom access to care might not otherwise be available. These clinics and care homes also provide nutrition, testing, shelter and emotional support to children who have been orphaned by the AIDS epidemic. For more info please visit
