City Scapes Quilt

Supplies
- Easy Three

Fabrics
- 1 yd. of one light fabric
- 1 yd. of one medium fabric
- 1 yd. of one dark fabric
*PLEASE NOTE: Fabrics MUST be non-directional. One way prints, stripes and plaids are not suitable. All stripes are cut from width of fabric. Press all seams open.

Cutting & Sewing Directions

Using the 3" finished line on the Easy Three, cut 6 strips from each fabric.

Sew 3 light strips to 3 medium strips, making 3 Strip Set A.
Sew 3 light strips to 3 dark strips, making 3 Strip Set B.
Sew 3 medium strips to 3 dark strips, making 3 Strip Set C.

Press seams open.

Using the 6" finished line on the Easy Three, cut triangles from each strip set. Note that each strip yields two different triangles. City Scapes verticle layout Group like triangles together and label. This will make it easier to follow the piecing diagram. You will have 99 triangles cut.

Piecing Directions
Following the completed quilt diagram and checking placement carefully, sew triangles together in vertical strips as set forth:

Strip 1 - 9 triangles

Strip 2 - 11 triangles

Strip 3 - 13 triangles

Strip 4 - 15 triangles

Strip 5 - 15 triangles

Strip 6 - 13 triangles

Strip 7 - 11 triangles

Strip 8 - 9 triangles.

Sew vertical strips together.

Press seams open.

Layer, quilt and bind as desired.

Don't forget to sign and date your quilt!
